Accreditation for International Schools
We keep it simple, so you can keep things moving
We keep it simple, so you can keep things moving
At ISA, we approach accreditation as a means to support school leadership and foster autonomy, rather than impose rigid conformity. Our aim is to provide international school communities with a clear, objective perspective on their current standing and potential for growth.
The ISA International School Affiliate model offers a distinct, consultancy-led process designed for efficiency and minimal disruption. This involves a comprehensive review completed within a single school day, bypassing the need for pre-visits or ongoing membership fees.
At ISA, we believe in a clear and effective accreditation process that supports school leadership and upholds autonomy. Our aim is to provide international schools with an insightful, independent view of their current standing and future potential.
To initiate the process, simply click the "Become ISA Accredited" button at the top of this page to select a date that suits your school. Ahead of the visit, your institution will provide two essential documents: your safeguarding policy and your strategic or development plan.
On the day of the accreditation visit, our team of experienced senior leaders – all currently serving as principals or CEOs of accredited international schools – will observe learning environments and engage with your school community. This allows us to gain an authentic understanding of your school in action.
Shortly after the visit, we will arrange an online leadership consultation to discuss our findings. Subsequently, you will receive two definitive documents: an ISA development plan with pragmatic recommendations, and a clear, publishable ISA school accreditation report.
